Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill Set to Move Forward

After the completion and unveiling of legislative language, the Senate is now poised to pass a $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill. The 2,702 page bill aims to improve the nation's roads, bridges, railways and public transit systems using $550 billion in new funding.


The Senate is now considering two amendments to the proposal. On Monday, Senate Majority leader Chuck Schumer previewed three other bipartisan amendments up for consideration.


"Let's start voting on amendments," Schumer said in remarks on the Senate floor. "The longer it takes to finish the bill, the longer we'll be here."
