Crane Spotted at Sofi-Adjacent Kali Hotel Development

Construction commenced on the $300- million Kali Hotel development at Inglewood's Hollywood Park. KPC Development Co., a firm with operations in California and India, is spearheading the development. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Kali Hotel will be the company's first U.S. hospitality venture. The 13-story, 300-room hotel will be the only lodging facility within the Hollywood Park complex.
Located on Stadium Drive, across Hollywood Park's artificial lake from SoFi Stadium, the hotel will join Marriott's Autograph Collection. It will feature 34 suites designed to accommodate sports and entertainment figures visiting Hollywood Park venues. Additional amenities include a rooftop bar, three restaurants, a pool deck, a fitness center, 20,000 square feet of meeting space, and underground parking for 315 vehicles.
The design is led by the Lamar Johnson Collaborative, a firm known for its work in Chicago, with support from Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence and builder Clayco.
The Kali Hotel is scheduled for completion by spring 2026, positioning it to host guests for major events like the 2026 World Cup, the 2027 Super Bowl, and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Rising on land ground-leased from Kroenke Holdings, owner of the Los Angeles Rams and the Hollywood Park complex, the hotel is part of a master-planned development billed as the largest of its kind on the West Coast. Once finished, the area will include 89,000 square feet of retail space and 2,500 homes surrounding SoFi Stadium.
The Kali Hotel is paving the way for more accommodations near the stadium, such as the Fairfield Inn planned for Century Boulevard and the 15-story Arya Hotel next to the Intuit Dome.
