Progress continues to be made on the future site of the NFL's Los Angeles Chargers in El Segundo, CA. The development, consisting of a new office complex and training facility, is situated on a 14-acre plot of land just east of the El Segundo Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway intersection.

Gensler Sports is handling design duties while Continental Development Corporation and Mar Ventures, Inc. are overseeing the construction of the project with a budget exceeding $270 million. The construction site was formerly part of Raytheon's South Bay campus.

A main building spanning 145,000 square feet will house various amenities such as offices, a hospitality club, studio facilities, and a 3,100-square-foot media center. Additionally, the project includes three natural grass fields to the east of the main building, complete with seating for more than 5,000 spectators. A surface parking lot accommodating 348 vehicles is also planned.

Despite sharing SoFi Stadium with the Los Angeles Rams, the two NFL teams have chosen vastly different locations for their headquarters. Rams owner Stan Kroenke has acquired a substantial amount of land in Warner Center, including the 35-acre site of the Promenade Mall, totaling nearly 100 acres. Plans are underway for a temporary practice facility, along with a mixed-use project featuring housing and commercial elements, resembling the surroundings of SoFi Stadium.

Construction began in early 2022 and the completion date for the Chargers' campus was projected to be in the spring of 2024.
